we stayed at a container van type accomodation with bunk beds that can house the four of us plus a toddler. Our room comes with a gazebo where we can lounge around while we enjoy the cool mountain breeze. the food there is delicious too and they offer a wide selection of filipino, chinese and Korean dishes. Because we went there on a weekday, we got the resort all to ourselves! we just paid php 2500 for the room and our total bill was under 5000 including breakfast,lunch, dinner and some snacks!

Erry Farm Cactus and Adenium     Erry Farm is usually the last stop if you’re coming from Kapatagan then your exit is to Bansalan. Erry Farm is located at Brgy.Onion, Bansalan Davao Del Sur. When I visited the place I thought it’s just a common plant sanctuary but it’s not! It’s kind a big farm with full of different variety of Cactus and Adenium. I was amazed how Erry Farm manages the plants by segregating by category. Intl J Bonorowo Wetlands 11 : 51-57.  Awareness of community knowledge and utilization patterns of mangrove ecosystems and their services is integral to conservation and management. However, this aspect remains less explored, especially in the Philippines. Hence, this study assessed the community knowledge and utilization of mangroves in Panabo Mangrove Park, Panabo City, Davao del Norte Philippines, using a survey research design. Through a simple random sampling procedure, 154 residents living near the area were surveyed using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using frequency and percentages. Results revealed that the majority were knowledgeable of the existence and the services of mangroves except for their medicinal uses.
